    Ice crea  It ism sandwiches tacos coneys gyros meat loaf   Drive up or walk up and eat in your car.

    Just a few blocks north of the main highway through town, The Milky Way is waiting for you to visit.  The menu is large for such a small building.  This is strictly a order and go type of restaurant.  Of course they have ice cream, but they have all sorts of sandwiches including tacos, coneys, gyros and meatloaf to name just a few.

    If you driving through Frankfort and are the least bit hungry or thirsty, you owe it to yourself to go to this place

    Decent prices for the food you get. Kids loved their grape and blue raspberry slushies. Their onion rings are fantastic! They make them there and they are a delight. Sweet Tea was tasty. Outside tables in the shade were nice to sit at. Service was pleasant and quick.

    dang service wasn't that great, ordered a hot dog and Mac and cheese and it wasn't that good. I ate the whole thing and tried to get my money back and wouldn't let me, wouldn't recommend very displeased

    This Milky Way has been in our family for over 60 years. Many food items are old family recipes including the tacos, coney sauce and meatloaf sandwiches. We are known for our unique soft serve tangerine twist ice cream. Stop in to sample some of our items...flavored soft drinks, flurries, breaded tenderloins, sundaes, milkshakes and much more!

    Frankfort Indiana icon.  Don't miss this little gem.  Standard ice cream stuff plus.  Try the soft hot tacos.  I've been going here since the 70's.
